DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TENNIS BALL AND A PADEL BALL?

MAXIMUM PADEL ACADEMY INFORMS:

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PADEL BALL AND A TENNIS BALL?

THIS IS A VERY TYPICAL QUESTION AND IT USUALLY COMES UP WHEN YOU PLAY THE GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME.

HOWEVER, NOT MANY PEOPLE REALLY KNOW WHAT THE EXACT DIFFERENCE IS.

HERE IS THE ANSWER !
The padel ball is practically identical to a tennis ball, they have the same colour and same diameter.

The difference is in the PRESSURE of the two types of balls.
Padel balls have 1 atmosphere less pressure.

This lowered pressure slows the game down just a bit.
This makes playing padel much more fun and smashing the ball out of the court surface a bit more challenging.

PLEASE NOTE:
THE ORANGE COLORED BALLS THAT ARE SOLD IN SOME STORES ARE NOT REGLAMENTARY.
THE INTERNATIONAL PADEL FEDERATION RULES AND REGULATIONS REQUIERE PADEL BALLS TO BE YELLOW OR WHITE.
