El restaurante del hotel Ferrero consigue su primera estrella Michelín
El cocinero Paco Morales, del Restaurante Paco Morales ubicado en el hotel "Ferrero" (Bocairent), ha obtenido su primera estrella en la edición de 2011 de la Guía Michelín de España y Portugal, presentada anoche en San Sebastián.
El restaurante, propiedad del tenista Juan Carlos Ferrero, ha sido distinguido por la selección de sus productos, la creatividad, su armonía de sabores y la relación calidad precio de su cocina, responsabilidad del chef cordobés, de 29 años de edad.
Morales inició su carrera en un local de su familia en Córdoba, y con 20 años fue jefe de partida en el restaurante Guggenhein; posteriormente trabajó en el Mugaritz, donde colaboró con Aduriz y fue jefe de cocina, y en El Bulli.
El joven cocinero ha diseñado una oferta a base de frutas, verduras, hierbas aromáticas y productos de esta zona de la sierra de Mariola, donde ha apostado por la calidad del producto renunciado a técnicas efectistas. (EFE)

MAXIMUM PADEL ACADEMY INAUGURATION WITH THE PRESS AT THE SH VILLA GADEA HOTEL
Los pasados días 19 y 20 de noviembre, Maximum Padel inauguró su primer club de pádel de alto rendimiento en España dentro de su plan estratégico de expansión internacional.
El lugar elegido para la apertura de este club ha sido la turística ciudad de Altea, en concreto dentro de las instalaciones del Hotel de cinco estrellas SH Villa Gadea, un entorno privilegiado para la práctica del deporte de alto nivel.
Maximum Padel es una joven empresa alicantina a cuya cabeza se encuentran dos nombres ilustres del deporte de la raqueta como son el tenista Juan Carlos Ferrero y el actual Campeón del Mundo de pádel “Pitu” Losada que se han puesto al frente de un conjunto de profesionales especializados en la planificación y gestión de clubes de pádel, así como la formación a todos los niveles y la prestación de cualquier servicio relacionado con este deporte.
Con esta escuela Maximum Padel hace realidad un nuevo proyecto que viene a sumarse a los ya iniciados en otros países donde tiene abiertas delegaciones tales como Francia, Inglaterra, Alemania y Egipto.
Maximum Padel es la primera empresa a nivel mundial especializada en la creación y gestión de clubes con un enfoque empresarial dirigiendo todas sus acciones a la maximización y rentabilidad del negocio del pádel, actividad que en los últimos años está experimentando un importante auge a nivel nacional y que está comenzando a expandirse por nuevos países en los que el pádel representa un importante nicho de negocio.
También es la empresa del sector que franquicia escuelas de formación de pádel, especialidad en la que también entra a formar parte Jorge Nicolini, toda una leyenda en el mundo del pádel y especialista en la planificación y gestión de clubes de pádel y formación.
La presentación del nuevo Club Maximum Padel tuvo lugar en las propias instalaciones del Hotel SH Villa Gadea con un mini torneo de pádel así como a clinics y cursos impartidos por Pitu Losada y los monitores de Maximum Padel.
Durante los dos días de duración se respiró un ambiente de diversión y camaradería en el que los participantes perfeccionaron su técnica y sus golpes a la vez que todos disfrutaron de las instalaciones de auténtico lujo del hotel SH Villa Gadea.
